| Tom started designing metal and glass furniture in the early nineties when he discovered the strength, versatility, and beauty of steel. He opened his own workshop in 1993 and opened the London showroom in 1999. Tom has designed several different ranges of furniture, some classical and some contemporary. Either way, his aim has always been to create beauty and elegance using the clean simple lines of metal and glass. Without unnecessary ornament, Tom says, beauty comes from the line, the finish, and the detail. Therefore meticulous workmanship and attention to detail in both the manufacture and finishing are paramount.
