Edward Barnsley was one of the leading designer-makers of the 20th Century and played a prominent part in continuing the Arts and Crafts Movement. A new generation of designer-craftsmen maintains the creation of unique pieces of furniture at this prestigious, historic workshop. The ideas and ethics of the original Arts and Crafts Movement are kept alive and incorporated into designs that satisfy current needs and criteria. Over eighty years of making fine furniture puts us in an enviable position in terms of sensitively combining traditional and modern techniques and materials.
